• With a home network, each computer has its own high speed connection to the Internet (assuming you have a Comcast cable or DSL connection). We can assist with the setup of Comcast cable or Qwest DSL if you don't already have a high speed connection. If you live in the mountains and can't get Cable or DSL, we can help with other high-speed alternatives including ISDN and broadband wireless.
• We can setup your computers to print to any printer in your home, you can copy files back and forth between computers.
• We can help transfer files from your old computer to a new computer including e-mail, documents, and web bookmark favorties.
• Wireless networks work great at home. With 802.11b or 802.11g technologies, you can securely access the Internet at broadband speeds and share printers or files between computers at your home. You can even share between Macintosh and Windows computers. Wireless networks add convenience and avoid wiring issues. The radio signals used are safe and very similar to cordless telephones used in most homes today.We help troubleshoot wireless network issues and can extend your wireless network to cover a larger area.
• We can help you set up your Airport Express to stream music from a Windows or Macintosh computer to your stereo.
• In addition to new Apple and DELL equipment, we also sell a wide range of used desktop and laptop computers at very reasonable prices. Our used laptops have "factory fresh" installs of Windows XP and are in "like new" condition. They are premium model laptops from DELL that originally cost over $2000. Now they are available for a fraction of this cost. Many of our customers prefer these premium used laptops over the "less expensive" new DELL laptops.
